“Construction is expected to begin at Arapahoe Street and end at the west side of Welton Street. The project is set to begin in fall 2019 and be completed in the late spring/early summer, 2020.
Construction Update: 6/12/19
Status: The last piece of pipe has been installed in this phase of the 27th Street Storm Drain Interceptor Project! Final paving from Blake Street up to the Lawrence intersection is complete. Work on the last manhole near the Arapahoe intersection is underway, as is work on stormwater inlets and pedestrian ramps at the intersection. The base paving of 27th — from Lawrence up to Arapahoe — will take place at the end of this week. Final paving of that section will follow but has not yet been scheduled.
Impacts: This week, 27th is closed from the west side of the Lawrence intersection up to the alley between Arapahoe and Curtis. Please be extra aware of your surroundings as you travel through the busy construction zone. Pedestrian access is being maintained.
Colorado Rockies Parking Garage: Remember that parking is always available for $5 in the Rockies parking garage on non-game days only. Check the Rockies’ schedule so you can plan your garage-parking days!
Construction Coffee: That’s a wrap on our construction coffees, as the project will be finishing up within a few weeks. Thanks to all of you who came to chat!”
