“Jill Jennings Golich appointed interim executive director of CPD
The Community Planning and Development team gathered yesterday to say goodbye to outgoing executive director Brad Buchanan. Brad leaves his role as Denver’s chief planner to take on the mighty task of leading the National Western Center, transforming the campus into a year-round destination.
Jill Jennings Golich now takes the reins as interim executive director while a permanent replacement is sought. Jill has served as a deputy director of the department since 2014, during which time she led the successful adoption of the 2016 building code, implemented visionary planning at places like Broadway Station, and is currently helping orchestrate greener building practices citywide.
“I look forward to continuing the progress we’ve made in making metric-based decisions, providing great customer service, and supporting all of the amazing work the CPD team does on a daily basis, whether it’s neighborhood planning, outreach, Denveright planning, zoning and building permitting, or conducting inspections.” – Jill Jennings Golich”
